"Mentoring Kings highlights the stories of black men who are revered in their communities for their brilliance, emotional intelligence, generosity, kindness, and compassion. These individuals serve as exemplary leaders and role models. The show serves as a platform for mentors, programs, and organizations that authentically depict a positive representation of black men.

The idea of mentoring kings was conceived by the late Vice Chairman of Central City Productions, Dr. Rosemary R. Jackson. This innovative concept aims to empower and guide young men to reach their full potential and become leaders in their communities. Dr. Jackson's vision continues to inspire and impact countless lives, as we strive to cultivate the next generation of kings.
